Harmon Cove,
Secaucus, NJ

This 750 acre tract of barren land in the New Jersey Meadowlands, in Secaucus, NJ was acquired by Hartz Mountain in 1969. The land was considered by many to be too difficult on which to build and too risky in which to invest. With vision and resources, Hartz created roads, installed utilities and a huge warehouse distribution park was soon developed. The tract evolved into Harmon Cove, Hartz's first major mixed-use development.
