Curtis L. Michael

Curt Michael has been with Hartz since 1990, where his work focuses on environmental matters and commercial litigation, as well as employment and insurance issues. He also helps the Hotel Division maintain compliance with various rules and regulations. Prior to coming to Hartz, Curt was associated with a large New Jersey law firm based in Newark. Curt is an approved New Jersey Superior Court Mediator, has performed pro bono Special Civil Part Mediation in his home county of Morris, and has served on the American Arbitration Association's Commercial Arbitration Advisory Panel. He is active in the New Jersey Corporate Counsel Association, where he served on its Board of Directors. Curt is a past member of the Hudson Inn of Court, and Master in the Stewart G. Pollock Environmental Inn of Court.

Curt received his Bachelors of Science in International Environmental Studies from Rutgers University, Cook College. He also holds a Master of Arts in Public Policy from Duke University. Curt received his J.D. from the University of Denver, College of Law. He holds licenses to practice law in both New Jersey and New York.
