John Comer has been involved in building design as well as construction management for more than 100 buildings in the Hartz portfolio. Projects include high-rise offices, theatres, shopping centers, hotels, industrial buildings, multi-family residential, data centers and film studios, and others.

Mr. Comer joined Hartz Mountain Industries Inc. in 1979. He spent his first 10 years in the Architectural Department serving as Assistant Vice President of Architecture. In 1989, he was promoted to Vice President of Building Construction, with the responsibility of overseeing construction of Hartz properties, and in December of 2005, Mr. Comer was promoted to Senior Vice President of Construction.

Prior to joining Hartz Mountain Industries, Mr. Comer worked for New Jersey architectural firms for 7 years. Trained at the New York Institute of Technology, he is licensed to practice architecture in the State of New Jersey.
