Prior to joining Hartz, Peter was Senior Vice President with companies such as Vornado Realty Trust and Forest City Ratner. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Retail Development and Construction with Vornado Realty Trust overseeing entitlements/approvals, development, and construction on over $ 2 billion worth of retail and mixed use projects throughout the United States. Prior to joining Vornado, Peter had been a Project Executive/Senior Vice President with Forest City Ratner on one of the largest mixed use life style centers in the Northeast. Peter started his career as a Project Scheduler with Tishman Construction. During his 25 years of experience in retail, mixed use, office, hotel, and residential construction and development, Peter has been involved with/overseen/built in excess of 15 million square feet of development projects throughout the United States.

Peter is an Engineering graduate of Columbia University, School of Engineering, holding a B.S. in Engineering. He has taken graduate level classes at Columbia University’s School of Business and NYU’s Real Estate Institute. Peter is a member of the Woodcliff Lake Planning Board. He is also a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Urban Land Institute
