Phillip R. Patton joined Hartz' Legal Department in mid-1987. In his present position, he is responsible for the oversight and coordination of all litigation matters involving Hartz and its related entities.

Prior to 1987, Mr. Patton was affiliated with the law firm of Horowitz, Bross, Sinins & Imperial with offices in Newark and Secaucus, New Jersey. There, he focused primarily on corporate and commercial real estate and litigation matters, which included the representation of, among others, Hartz Mountain Industries.

Mr. Patton received a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania and a Juris Doctorate degree, with honors, from Seton Hall School of Law, Newark. He is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey as well as the U.S. Supreme Court.
