HARTZ MOUNTAIN IS NORTH JERSEY’S PREMIER DATA CENTER SOURCE
Hartz Mountain Industries is a leading supplier of data centers in North Jersey. No matter the economic environment, there is a constant demand for Wall Street and tech firms to invest in data centers. Hartz has continued to fortify its role as North Jersey's premier data center source with the recent lease of 324,654 square feet of data center space in Secaucus, NJ which marked the tenth data center facility Hartz has leased in Hudson and Bergen counties, some of which are used by multiple tenants.
Hartz fully understands the needs of its data center clients. Facilities need to provide tenants with security in terms of location and building amenities. Additionally, data centers require a significant amount of square footage. Currently, data centers represent about 1.7 million square feet of Hartz Mountain's portfolio, and that number will continue to grow in the future.
"Data center tenants are unique, in that they require locations removed from Manhattan due to security concerns, but they must also be easily accessible," says Emanuel Stern, President and COO of Hartz Mountain Industries. "North Jersey provides this dynamic, and as a result, a host of companies with data center needs have invested accordingly. Hartz has developed a strong foothold within this business sector and will continue to locate optimal data center facilities and grow its relationships."
Secaucus and North Bergen offer potential tenants two prime locations for data center space. Located just off exit 15X of the New Jersey Turnpike, Harmon Cove is a naturally desirable location, sitting just minutes from the Port of New York/New Jersey - the largest port on the east coast of North America. The buildings at Harmon Cove feature ample space and conveniences for daily operations, and tenants enjoy immediate access to the most extensive interstate highway and rail networks in the region. These highways include the New Jersey Turnpike, Garden State Parkway, Routes 3, 17, 46, 1 & 9 and arteries to I-80, I-95, and I-280. Bus service to New York's Port Authority and various points in New Jersey is available. Harmon Cove lies within minutes from Newark Liberty International Airport, and just half a mile from Secaucus Junction Station. New tenants can lease 100,000-300,000 square feet of space.
Like Harmon Cove, the North Bergen data center buildings offer ample space and conveniences for data center tenants, who also enjoy immediate access to the most extensive interstate highway and rail networks in the region. The buildings are located off of Route 1 & 9, and are within minutes of Manhattan and Newark International Airport. Tenants enjoy easy access to the Garden State Parkway, Routes 17, 46 and arteries to I-80, I-95 and I-280.
